  • £115.00

Hand woven with hand spun yarn* and vegetable dyes, these Anatolian and SW Persian influenced designs have been a staple of weavers from the north of Afghanistan for generations. This very vibrant style made something of a comeback with fresher colours, in the last 10 years or so.

*From the famous Karakul sheep of the region, the same wool from which the equally famous but very un-kilim like hat of the late Soviet president Leonid Brezhnev was made.
