Khorgeen, E.Turkey, c1900
An old ( late 19th or early 20th century) saddle bag woven in Eastern Turkey with colours rather typical of the region – deep purple and red. The various holes and roughly repaired splits (reflected in the very reasonable price) are proof of a long life on the hoof.
