Join us for an enthralling evening of Iranian music with Ali Rahmani and friends
We are delighted to be hosting an evening of Iranian traditional music on Friday 19th July at 6.30pm at The Nomads Tent featuring a very talented musical trio who met at the Musicians in Exile project. The project encourages refugees and asylum seeker musicians to play again and provide them with musical instruments and rehearsal space in order to form a band and grow their social network.
The talented trio comprises of Ali Rahmani a professional percussionist on the Tombak, Aref a classically trained Iranian singer and Saeed a graduate from the Conservatory of Tehran who will be playing the Tar. They will be combining their skills to deliver a beautiful and unique acoustic performance.
